Being students today in a society that is increasingly subject to the phenomena of globalization means that we must also acquire a different new sensitivity, that is attentive to integration process and ready to comprehend a whole variety of different points of view. With this assumption as our starting-point, we believe that we have found an effective means of facilitating this comprehensive process in the Intercultural Exchange Program, which offers students a whole series of opportunities to broaden their wealth of knowledge and of international experiences. It is a new type of program whose contents range from seminars and in-depth analysis of themes relating to each student’s particular course of study to activities centered around the promotion of cultural interpenetration amongst people from different backgrounds. |
