Our cultural itineries, of great importance for the Association, are organized mainly for international students to enable them to visit the most beautiful parts of our Bel Paese. The activities are on a nationwide level: from those cities considered "capitals2 for tourists, famous all over the world for their wealth of monuments and squares, to those small scheduled villages and lamlets that, like precious cameos, embellish the Stivale. The Castelli Romani with Lake Nemi and Lake Albano; Naples with its narrow side-streets, stunning views and its Bay, the Flegree Islands, amongst there Capri and Ischia, and Florence with the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) are just a few of the “musts” we have already visited during our trips. These itineries are proposed primarily for international students, guests of those universities for which Consules offers assistance and tutoring activities, but also of course for all our members who may be interested. Our mission is to provide guided tours that enable students to visit those palces for which our country is famous all over the world at a reasonable price. This kind of activity also gives students a chance to get to know each other better, facilitating that process of cultural integration which is the very spirit of all exchange programs. |
