The CMUN 2008 took place in two different locations: the first simulation took place from 6 to 8 March at the University LUISS “Guido Carli”. 

During the first venue, the NHSMUN participants simulated the UN Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations (SCPO) and the WMUN participants simulated the Security Council.

The second simulation took place from 5 to 6 April 2008 and was hosted by the Golden Tulip Bellambrina Hotel. The NMUN participants from the 5 Universities, (Luiss, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, Sapienza and Firenze) simulated the General Assembly Plenary.

CONSULES MODEL UNITED NATIONS 2009

At the end of the training stage, Consules Association schedules a final simulation. All the students of those Universities which Consules cooperates with for the participation to the Models, will take part in the simulation.

This initiative consisting in the simulation of a working session of the General Assembly is strongly supported by the Association, and allows the students taking part in the MUN to have a clear picture of how the NMUN works and receive a complete and highly competitive education.
Students from all the universities collaborating with Consules in the participation of different Models may take part in the simulation.

The Consules Model United Nations has proven to be a very important means, as confirmed by the students themselves, towards fully understanding the application of the rules of procedure and therefore, the Association has decided to extend the scope of this model in the years to come, aiming to make it in the future an appointment in which the foreign universities that work in collaboration with Consules will take part.
